|Origin:||Seigaku-ishi. Shizuoka prefecture, Japan.|
|Size:||4 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches, 11.5 x 9 x 8 cm (w x h x d)|
|Daiza:||Carved in Japan from softwood and stained a dark reddy brown.
||A good quality suiseki in the form of a distant mountain with a tall main peak, a smaller secondary peak, and a waterfall cascading between them.|
When Seigaku stones are found there is often a light colour inclusion on their underside, this is usually removed to facilitate with the fitting of a daiza, as is the case with this stone.
Please note, the photos were taken using strong light and in reality the stone is not as glossy as it appears here.
||SOLD, with thanks.
