|Origin:||Furuya-ishi. Wakayama prefecture, Japan.|
|Size:||3 1/8 x 3 1/4 x 2 inches, 8 x 8.5 x 5 cm (w x h x d)|
|Daiza:||Carved in Japan from rosewood. Due to the rounded profile of the stone's bottom it is a little
unstable when sat in the daiza.
||Made of Cedar wood and used to store and protect the stone when not on display.
||A naturally formed hut suiseki with a 'post' on the right side supporting the roof. The stone's highly textured surface gives a very rustic, wabi sabi appearance to the hut,
something much admired in Japan.
||SOLD, with thanks.
